Stuck in Fast-Forward

I'm a future thinker to an extreme. I always wonder what mysteries lie in the wake of tomorrow, and I obsess over what big hurdle will walk into my life next.  It's tough-like I'm stuck in fast forward.
But this kind of thinking isn't want God wants for us. Matthew 6:34 says this, “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." These words preach it all. We can't be stuck in fast forward our whole lives.  Eventually we have to buckle down and just hit the play button.
