About ME...

Just a few words about who I am and what I do...

It's been a while since I've updated this "About Me" Section, so maybe you can hold me to updating it every so often?

This year, I am a Freshman, and high school has had it's up and downs. I am a member of the tennis team this year, and have had a rewarding season playing a mix of both Junior Varsity and Varsity. I am also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and love getting spiritually acquainted with Whiteland's other athletes. I was also inspired to join the WCHS Environmental Club this year, and am proud to say that I am President of what we call the "Composting Committee". Earlier this year, I applied for a $450 grant to help in beginning a composting project at our schools. I basically envisioned old fruits and veggies from the cafeteria finding their rightful place back in the environment by putting them in wooden composting crates. This project is actually happening, and I am very proud to be the one heading it up.

When it comes to the arts, I am currently in Whiteland's "Shades of Blue", an Advanced Jazz Choir. Making it into this group really boosted my confidence as a musician, and I am now leading worship on a biweekly basis for my church, Southpointe. I would also consider writing an art, so I guess I should touch-up on that. I am happy to say that I have written two songs this past year, and won an International writing contest July of this year in beautiful Iowa.  I am so thankful for these artful opportunities God placed in my life.

Spiritually, I have really matured in my relationship with Christ, and owe that to my parents, and the great roles they have played in advancing God's Kingdom. Every day, I want to be more like them, and ultimately more like Christ. Christ is opening so many more musical and writing doors than ever before, and I am so thankful for that. Well that's me...how about you? I encourage every single one of you reading this to email me your own simple encouragements at ec99robinson@gmail.com , and encourage what I would call a "blogosphere" of other Christians who will delight in your work.
